Rwanda’s Celestine Nswanzuwera has taken the lead in the Johnnie Walker Uganda Golf Open Professionals Tournament, with just one round left to play.
Nswanzuwera carded a two-under-par today on the par-71 Lugazi Golf Course, overtaking day-two leader Dismas Ndiza of Kenya by two strokes.
Uganda’s Ronald Rugumayo, who had a commanding four-stroke lead after day one, has slipped to sixth place—now trailing the leader by six strokes.
The championship will conclude tomorrow with the grand finale.
