100 SMES benefit from €7.2M fund
 for green finance

As part of the Uganda Green Enterprise Finance Accelerator’s (UGEFA) Green Finance Academy, fully funded by the European Union Delegation to the Republic of Uganda and implemented by Adelphi, about 30 people are the latest beneficiaries of sustainability training aimed at accelerating green finance knowledge within Uganda’s financial sector. Christine Meyer, Project Lead of UGEFA and Head of Programme Green Entrepreneurship at Adelphi, says leaders from 206 SMEs have been trained and 100 funded, with money ranging between shs 36 million and shs 300 million.
