INFRASTRUCTURE BONDS: How NSSF can use them

After announcing an interest rate of 13.5%, the Minister for Gender, Labour and Social Development, Betty Amongi, revealed that the government will begin borrowing from the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) through infrastructure bonds. She noted that the fund is already a lead investor in major projects such as the Kampala–Jinja Expressway and will play a key role in other upcoming large-scale developments.
