The Inspector General of Police, Abbas Byakagaba, has warned that individuals who defy the laws and guidelines set by the Electoral Commission will face legal consequences. Emphasising zero tolerance for violence during the political season, Byakagaba assured the public that the police will work to maintain a peaceful and orderly election process. He made the remarks while addressing heads of criminal investigations from police stations across the country.
