Local solutions slash Uganda’s food waste

Uganda grows enough food to feed its people, yet food waste costs billions each year while hunger persists. Contaminated maize alone has cost over $121 million in lost exports, and smallholder farmers lose up to 20% of their harvests. Now, local solutions are proving effective in cutting waste by more than half. We have a report by Racheal Nabisubi.
