Makerere University Retirement Benefits Scheme (MURBS) has posted a strong financial performance for the 2024/2025 financial year, with its total assets rising from UGX 409 billion to UGX 475 billion. The scheme recorded an increase of UGX 65 billion, driven largely by returns on investments in government securities, which accounted for 86.3 percent of total investments. Ronah Nahabwe reports.
