Activists urge gov’t to ensure affordable food supplies

Food insecurity remains a challenge in Uganda, especially during electoral times when much emphasis is drawn to the political arena. Civil Society organisations are now urging the government to secure affordable food supplies for the post-election period, when food prices are expected to surge.
