Handbook to guide teachers of children with hearing impairment launched

The research conducted in various districts shows that about 700 children with hearing impairment do not have access to aiding equipment and those in school hardly understand what they are taught since teachers don’t pay much attention to their need.
To combat this, the Uganda Federation of the Hard of Hearing has launched a hand book that will guide teachers to teach children with hearing impairment.
