Meanwhile, in Entebbe, IGAD member states have convened to assess progress on the 2027 Djibouti Declaration, focusing on education and health. As the country hosting the largest number of refugees, Uganda is tasked with harmonizing education standards across the region. Among the eight member states, Kenya, Uganda, and South Sudan are sharing achievements in refugee integration and economic empowerment.
