The confirmation of charges hearing in the case of LRA commander Joseph Kony has begun before the International Criminal Court. Kony is facing 39 counts of war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in northern Uganda. His interests are being represented by his lawyer, Peter Haynes. The session is expected to last three days, as Maria Kamara Mabinty, the ICC Outreach Officer for Uganda, explained to NTV from Gulu City.
