Local leaders in Kotido sound alarm over increasing young mothers

A recent surge in the number of child mothers and related complications in Kacheri Sub-county, Kotido district, Karamoja region has raised serious concerns among medical, political, and church leaders. According to the senior clinical officer at Kacheri Health Center III, the number of girls giving birth before the age of 18 has increased significantly in recent times, putting both their health and that of their newborns at risk.
