On Saturday at Hams Stadium in Nakivubo, East African netball giants National Insurance Corporation defeated newcomers UGX Luwero 60-31 to retain their top spot on the national netball standings. Despite missing some key players, a team of mostly new additions, including young players, took control of the game from the start. UGX Luwero, who suffered two losses that day, attributed their poor performance to a lack of fitness and promised to come back stronger next weekend.
