Students and teachers in Padel District are determined to embrace the sport of badminton and start competitions. This decision comes after a three-day training session led by officials from Badminton Uganda, which was hosted at Archbishop Flynn Secondary School and attended by representatives from 20 schools. This initiative aligns with the new sports law, which mandates that national sports associations must be present in at least 50 percent of Uganda’s districts, and federations must have a presence in at least 75 percent, totaling approximately 110 districts.
