Parents urged to support children in golf

Kawalya Dante, from Kampala Community International School, has emerged victorious at the season four finals of the Kids Golf tournament held today at Lugazi Hills Golf Course and Country Club. The event concluded with a call to parents to encourage their children to take up the sport, as this is deemed the best way to nurture future talent. The tournament attracted 100 participants across various categories, with the primary objectives being to provide a fun experience for kids, teach them the lifelong game of golf, and foster family interaction that creates lasting memories. Mark Muyobo, CEO of NCBA Bank, the tournament’s sponsors, described the season as fruitful, citing the bank’s support for several golfers at the international level.
