SAGE Program marks 15 years, calls for expanded support grow

It has been 15 years since the SAGE program was launched to support Uganda’s elderly, providing a monthly stipend of 25,000 shillings to those over 80. Today, over 306,000 older persons benefit nationwide, but local leaders are calling for a lower age threshold and higher payments to better meet their needs.
