Uganda Premier League debutants Buhimba Football Club defeated Calvary FC 2-0 in today’s early kick-off fixture, which was postponed yesterday due to bad weather, claiming their second win in two league games so far. Buhimba currently leads the league with six points. Meanwhile, Vipers Sports Club lived up to their word and did not show up at Mandela National Stadium in Namboole for what was supposed to be a double-header evening against Kitara FC. Club president Lawrence Mulindwa now insists he will not succumb to any pressure as long as FUFA does not reconsider their decision to run the league under the unfamiliar new format.
