Challenges in funding university education | TALK OF THE NATION
On Talk of the Nation, we returned to the recently passed National Budget, specifically focusing on the Education Sector Budget. Earlier this year, universities appealed to the government for increased funds to support research and postgraduate studies. Of the 4.4 trillion allocated to the sector, less than 2 trillion will be allocated to higher education. We sought the views of Equator University Vice Chancellor Prof. MOUHAMMAD MPEZAMIHIGO on his assessment of the National Budget.
