OIL & GAS: Ugandans gradually taking oil jobs
Uganda is expected to see its first commercial oil flow in the next three years, the industry's peak by national expectations. The bigger question, however, will be whether Ugandans are ready to take up oil and gas operations. The oil industry has been under development for more than two decades under the auspices of expatriates, during which billions of shillings have been invested to train Ugandans both locally and internationally. Tonight NTV assesses the readiness of Ugandans to take on the jobs in the industry.
