Government says EPS auto penalties are still suspended
Government has continued the suspension of its controversial Automated Express Penalty Scheme (EPS) and speed limit regulations. In doing so, the ministry says it is looking to continue to review the contested traffic laws that recently drew widespread complaints from motorists.The measures sparked backlash from drivers and taxi operators, some of whom threatened to go on strike, forcing the government to temporarily suspend the programme's enforcement.
