Government yet to secure land for new dumping site
State Minister for Kampala City and Metropolitan Affairs, Kabuye Kyofatogabye, says that no land has been acquired yet for a new garbage dump site. He dismissed reports claiming that land had already been secured. Kyofatogabye says that while several people have presented land for consideration, much of it is in dispute but plans to acquire land are underway.
