Kyankwanzi farmers seek PM's help against rising cattle theft
Kyankwanzi District farmers have appealed to the Prime Minister, Robinah Nabbanja, over an increase in the theft of animals in the cattle corridor. The disgruntled farmers add that the unscrupulous thieves are using very expensive vehicles, some with V8 engines, to steal their animals. The call came as the prime minister crossed into the greater Mubende districts of Mityana, Kassanda, Kyankwanzi and Kiboga on a campaign code-named Kisoboka — which is geared towards tipping farmers on better farming practices, switching from subsistence to commercial agriculture.
