NARO partners with S.Korea government to boost yields and profits
The National Agricultural Research Organization, in collaboration with the Korean government, organized the Rice Farmers' Festival in Butaleja. The event aimed to increase rice production and promote the use of modern technologies for water management, weed control, and fertilizer application in their gardens. Over 1,000 farmers participated in the event, held at the Doho Rice Scheme offices. Awards were presented in three individual categories and group awards for 10 farmers. Prizes ranged from $200 to $1,000.
