Works Ministry blames residents for KCCA roadworks delay
The refusal by residents to surrender road reserves in areas where the tarmacking of roads is planned under the Greater Kampala Metropolitan Area project has been highlighted as one of the problems delaying the programme. The issue came to the fore during an inter-ministerial meeting involving the Ministry of Works and Transport, Lands and Housing, and the Kampala Ministry.
