Activists raise alarm over shrinking civic space
Human rights activists and defenders are worried about the shrinking civic space in Uganda, which is curtailing the enjoyment of human rights. They say that once human rights are violated, other key sectors like democracy, accountability, and national development are affected. This was during the launch of the Civic Space Index Report 2024 by the Coalition for Human Rights Defenders Uganda.
