Archbishop Lwanga blasts police on public conduct
The archbishop of Kampala Dr Cyprian Kizito Lwanga has asked security agencies especially the police to open a new chapter of their conduct with the public, as the country readies for the 2021 general elections. Dr Lwanga, who was presiding at archdiocesan day celebrations, cited last week's Mityana incident, where police used tear gas to disperse a congregation there, as fit for condemnation. Today, the Kampala celebrated its 54th anniversary as an archdiocese.
