Bukedi cooperative union suspends officials over graft
The North Bukedi Cooperative Union has formed a vetting committee to receive applications for new board members after the current board's term expired in February. This move follows growing pressure from delegates demanding accountability for the alleged mismanagement of 8.2 billion shillings, funds intended for farmers. The issue was raised during a special Annual General Meeting at the Kabole Ginnery in Pallisa District.
