Burungi Bweka Group celebrates Christmas with shared savings
A section of residents from Bukuuna II Village, Nyakabaare Parish, in Rwampara District has shown that even the less privileged can celebrate in style. This group, called “Burungi Bweka,” which translates to "Joy of a Home," consists of 10 members who save a minimum of ten thousand shillings every month, starting at the beginning of the year. By lending to each other, they managed to raise enough money to buy a cow, which they were sharing for Christmas.
