Call for increased investment in Haemophilia care
The Ministry of Health and the government at large are being urged to increase investment in the treatment and care of people living with hemophilia, a lifelong blood disorder that impairs the body’s ability to clot blood. According to the Haemophilia Foundation of Uganda, at least 4,500 individuals are currently affected, many of whom struggle to access adequate care. Walter Mwesigye reports
