Sports sector allocated UGX 508 Billion for 2025-26
The sports subsector will have at least 508 billion shillings to spend this financial year, following the national budget for the financial year 2025/26 that was unveiled last week. The biggest percentage of the money will be channeled to infrastructure development in preparation for the 2025 CHAN Championship and the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, which Uganda is co-hosting with Kenya and Tanzania.
