Civil society organizations to be investigated for promoting homosexuality
State Minister for Trade David Bahati has expressed concern that about 30 Non-Governmental Organizations operating in Uganda are involved in the promotion of homosexuality. Bahati said the list of NGO’s will soon be submitted to relevant security bodies for formal investigations into their activities with a view to closing their operations in Uganda. Bahati says he will support all efforts by either government or a private member to reintroduce the anti-homosexuality bill in parliament to stop these activities in the country.
