Civil society warned against sabotaging oil programme
The Minister of Internal Affairs, Kahinda Otafire, has advised Civil Society Organizations in the oil and gas sector not to function as foreign agents working against Uganda's oil program. During the meeting, representatives of civil society urged the government to cease accusations of blackmail and bias against them and, instead, foster collaboration. The meeting took place in Kampala.
