CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT: Legislators move on Niwagaba bill
Voices in support of adjusting the elective terms of all political leaders from five to seven years have been loud on the third (3rd) day of debating the Constitutional Amendment Bill 2020. Minister of State for Lands Persis Namuganza is among those who support the seven year term on the grounds that this will reduce on the period for electioneering and the cost of organising elections every after five years.
