Domestic human trafficking cases are on the rise
Religious leaders have called for concerted efforts to fight human trafficking in Uganda, citing it as a barrier to the enjoyment of human rights. The call came during special prayers held by the Catholic Church in Kampala for victims of human trafficking. The Ministry of Internal Affairs welcomed the initiative and called for closer partnerships with various institutions and states to combat this vice.
