EU offers shs461bn for gender based development
The European Union has injected 461 billion shillings into the government’s efforts to promote gender-based development. These funds will go towards providing quality education for especially girls and women and combating gender-based violence which is affecting their education. In a campaign they have called Gender for Development Uganda, the European Union points out that quality education is critical to enabling girls to contribute to the country’s development.
