Experts slam govt's RDC expansion amid rationalization
Governance experts have criticized the government for doubling the number of Resident District Commissioners, contrary to the ongoing rationalization process of government entities. The analysts say that the appointment of over 300 assistant RDCs waters down the aim of cutting down unnecessary expenditures by the government. They argue that the bloating of the positions is inappropriate given the ongoing struggle to raise revenues to finance the budget.
