Family wants Makindye West MP produced in court
The family and legal team of Makindye West MP Allan Ssewanyana have announced that they will apply for a writ of Habeas Corpus to have court order the army to produce the legislator in court. This follows his recent rearrest shortly after his release on bail from Kigo Prison on Thursday. Ssewanyana and Kawempe North legislator Muhammad ssegirinya were charged in connection to the Masaka Machete attacks, in which at least 26 people were hacked to death.
