Gov’t completes works on Moroto Lokitanyala road
The Ministry of Works and Transport has upgraded the formerly Moroto-Lokitonyala security road connecting Uganda to Kenya to second-grade tarmac to boost trade between the two countries. State Minister for Works Musa Ecweru says the road could go a long way in enabling development in the Karamoja sub-region because it will be one of the major routes facilitating the transportation of imports and exports. He says that tourism will be boosted as a result.
