Government plans to fence national parks to prevent human-wildlife conflicts
The government is planning to fence more national parks in the country in a bid to curb human-wildlife conflicts. This was after the government fenced off a section of Queen Elizabeth National Game Park in western Uganda following various cases of human-wildlife conflicts that have claimed several lives and their properties. The state minister for tourism Martin Mugarra says the government is planning to extend this fence to cover an even wider area.
