Hoima stadium construction underway for AFCON 2027
Work has begun on Hoima Stadium as preparations for AFCON 2027 gather pace. The land for the stadium was donated to FUFA by the family of the late Dr. James Rujumba. Construction is slated to last 18 months and should be completed by the end of next year. The stadium is one of several venues expected to host games during the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, which Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania will co-host.
