Hundreds of thousands gather for Pope Francis' funeral
The Dean of Cardinals, Giovanni Battista, has commended Pope Francis for "touching minds and hearts" and seeking to "build bridges, not walls." The remarks came as Cardinal Giovanni Battista led the requiem Mass for Pope Francis ahead of his funeral at the Santa Maria Basilica in the heart of Rome. The funeral attracted hundreds of heads of state and over 200,000 pilgrims who arrived to pay their last respects to the man known as the People's Pope.
