IGAD urges collective approach to prepare for climate disasters
The Intergovernmental Authority on Development Climate Prediction and Applications Centre has urged member states to adopt a collective approach in preparing for disasters that could threaten lives and property. According to the centre, recent heatwaves and the upcoming rains may impact certain parts of the region, endangering food security and causing related issues.
