Startups held up by inadequate facilities
Venture capital firm Innovate Africa has raised concerns over the inadequate ICT infrastructure on the African continent, a state of affairs that is holding back many startups and budding software engineers, leaving them at the mercy of donors. The Undersecretary at the government ICT ministry, Sophia Nantongo, admits that partnerships with development partners are helping to find solutions to expand the tech sector.
