Joweria Kaweesi: Only female inmate to qualify for A-Level
Joweria Kaweesi is the only female inmate to qualify for A-Level among the 27 prisoners who sat for their Uganda Certificate of Education exams at Murchison Bay and Women's prisons in Luzira. Despite their circumstances, the learners, including a 60-year-old inmate, are filled with optimism, determined to continue their education and build a brighter future from behind bars, as WALTER MWESIGYE reports.
