Kampala is rapidly running out green spaces
The National Physical Planning Board is calling on all local governments to ensure the protection of all open public spaces. This comes at a time when a number of urban areas are losing such spaces to development, denying citizens their rights to enjoy these places. In Kampala, the City Authority is calling for partnerships to develop leisure parks as urban planners emphasize the importance of these spaces.
