Lawmakers raise concerns over teenage pregnancies in Gulu
Members of the Parliamentary Committee on Youth Affairs are urging the government to enhance Sexual Reproductive Health initiatives in Gulu to reduce teenage pregnancies. The MPs were alarmed to find that 50% of all deliveries in Gulu district are by teenagers. They noted that despite high sexual activity, access to contraceptives is limited.
