Maize mill worker charged with attempted murder and theft
A maize mill worker who attacked a businessman in an attempt to rob him has been charged in court. Ashraf Kizza is charged with attempted murder and theft of two million shillings. He appeared before the grade one magistrate of Mengo Magistrates Court, Adams Byarugaba. Kizza allegedly committed the offense in Nateete on 13th May and was arrested days later in Kyotera district. A video of Kizza attacking Sam Turyamuhaki with a hammer and machete in the mill's cashier's office went viral. Sudhir Byaruhanga reports.
