Makerere University to back sign language training
Language interpreters and translators have come out to form an umbrella body purposely to bring them together as language professionals to fight the unprofessionals who masquerade as translators and interpreters. During the launch of the association, a book "The Promise of Linguistics and Language that highlights the role of language in the development and shaping of society was also launched.
