Namugongo residents want area roads repaired.
Residents along Namugongo want the government to expedite the rehabilitation of roads around the Uganda Martyrs Shrine and sites there, with just a few days remaining until Martyrs' Day on June 3rd. According to residents, current diversions are causing traffic congestion, leading to fears that this could worsen the situation, unless roadworks are completed in time for the ceremonies.
