NRM NOMINATIONS: Speaker Among is unopposed for Bukedea Woman MP
Two days after the close of the expression of interest period, the NRM Electoral Commission has released a summary of the results from the concluded exercise. According to the NRM, 2,718 people filed nomination papers for the party ticket. Of these, 2,165 candidates received nomination papers for MP positions and 553 for district chairperson and mayoral positions. Meanwhile, those seeking party Central Executive Committee positions will pick up their expression of interest forms from 26th June to 1st July.
