Refugee funding crisis: Northern Uganda child dropouts
Dwindling humanitarian funding has caused hundreds of child refugees in Northern Uganda to drop out of school. Most of them are forced out of classrooms due to a lack of food. The World Food Programme initially supplied food to some schools, but that support is no longer available. Education authorities there warn that the situation is rapidly worsening and urgent intervention is needed.
